Every year, thousands of saints, elderly devotees, and pilgrims begin this difficult journey barefoot, carrying nothing except faith in their hearts and the name of “Radhe Radhe” on their lips. They walk through scorching heat, dusty roads, exhaustion, hunger, and physical pain — yet they continue moving forward with unwavering devotion. For many saints, this is not just a journey of the body, but a journey of the soul.

Among these pilgrims are elderly saints whose bodies are weak, whose feet are wounded with blisters, and whose age no longer supports them. Yet they continue walking, believing that every painful step taken in Braj brings them closer to divine grace. Some sleep under the open sky at night. Some survive with little or no food. Many continue the parikrama without proper medical care, water, or shelter.
